UCLA Chapter

Chi Alpha Delta is the nation’s first Asian interest sorority, established in 1929 to promote friendships, communication, and social activity among university women of Asian descent, as well as a desire to encourage school service and school spirit. Throughout the years, Chis have accepted women of all Asian descent into its sisterhood in hopes that its original purpose would not be forgotten but passed on from one generation to the next. Every year the sorority actively engages in community service throughout Los Angeles, socializes with other local Greek organizations throughout Southern California, actively pursues academic excellence, and most importantly of all: continue building on a sisterhood 84 years strong.
